Job Description

As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the daily lives of our residents by providing essential support with daily activities. Your experience in aged care will be invaluable as you assist residents with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

  • Support residents with personal hygiene and daily care routines.
  • Ensure all medication schedules are followed and documented.
  • Actively engage residents in conversations and activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Keep records of care provided and any significant changes in residents' conditions.
  • Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for all residents.
  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary needs.
  • Communicate effectively with residents' families about their loved ones' progress.
  • Assist with mobility and mobility aids as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
  • First Aid Certification required.
Experience
  • Prior experience in a residential care setting is preferred.
