Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Molten Iron Pourer to join our dedicated team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for expertly pouring molten iron into moulds according to precise specifications, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. This role is essential in maintaining the high quality of our castings and requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage the preparation of molds for iron pouring, ensuring specifications are met.
• Monitor melting equipment to ensure optimal temperature for pouring.
• Utilize appropriate equipment and techniques for pouring molten iron.
• Inspect castings for defects post-pouring and take corrective actions.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Document and report any issues that arise during production.
• Maintain compliance with safety and quality control standards.
• Assist with training new employees in pouring techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in a metal foundry or similar environment.

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
