Join our dynamic Melbourne team as a Packaging Operator. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining cellophane wrapping machines, ensuring that our products are packaged efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Your attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will be key to our operations.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate cellophane wrapping machines efficiently.
• Ensure the highest quality and accuracy in packaging.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of machines.
• Work with production lines to monitor output.
• Participate in the training of junior team members.
• Report any safety concerns to the manager immediately.
• Collaborate with QA personnel to ensure compliance with standards.
• Actively contribute to housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Maintain a high level of communication with team leads.
• Assist in process improvement and participate in team meetings.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience operating packaging machines is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Forklift license
• Packaging processes knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift license: A valid forklift operation license will be highly regarded.
