Job Description

Join our team as a Bread Oven Operator, where you will play a crucial role in the baking process by managing the operation of our ovens. This position requires a focus on quality control and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of multiple ovens and ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Prepare and maintain bread quality by adjusting baking parameters as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with team members to coordinate production and meet baking demands.
  • Document baking processes and maintain records for quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health codes.
  • Adapt to various baking needs and production schedules.
  • Participate in inventory assessments of baking materials and supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate III in Bakery highly regarded
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a commercial baking environment
