We seek an Environmental Engineer to join our Launceston team. You'll be instrumental in assessing environmental impacts and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental assessments, project management, and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental assessments and compliance projects.
• Evaluate and monitor projects for environmental impacts.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders regarding environmental issues.
• Ensure all project activities comply with legislation and best practices.
• Facilitate training sessions on environmental awareness.
• Develop mitigation strategies for environmental issues.
• Design and implement environmental management plans.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of environmental policies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of related experience in environmental projects

• Professional Engineer (PE)
