Job Description

We seek an Environmental Engineer to join our Launceston team. You'll be instrumental in assessing environmental impacts and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in environmental assessments, project management, and a passion for sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits.
• Prepare and review environmental reports and documentation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Develop and implement sustainable practices in project planning.
• Provide technical expertise in environmental management systems.
• Monitor the effectiveness of environmental plans and policies.
• Assist in the preparation of proposals and project scopes.
• Train and mentor junior staff on environmental practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Postgraduate qualification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of related experience in environmental projects

• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Professional Engineer (PE)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Renewable Energy Projects: Knowledge in working with renewable energy initiatives and solutions.
