Printing Press Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our talented production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and quality control of various printing machines. Experience in both digital and offset printing is essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with graphic designers to ensure accurate print output.
• Train junior staff on equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Manage stock levels of printing supplies and materials.
• Assist in executing large volume print jobs under tight deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Higher qualification in Printing or Graphic Design is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in a printing or manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• Experience with digital printing technology
• Knowledge of colour management systems

Soft Skills

• Multitasking
• Reliability

Certifications

• Advanced Printing Technologies Certification
• Forklift License (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with both digital and offset printing: Comprehensive knowledge of various printing methods and processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings: Experience interpreting blueprints and technical schematics related to print jobs.
