Job Description

As a Hematology Technologist, you will play a vital role in performing laboratory tests on blood and other bodily fluids. With a focus on accuracy, you will use advanced laboratory equipment to support diagnoses and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Execute tests on blood samples to assist with diagnosing diseases.
• Utilize advanced hematology analyzers and microscopes for accurate testing.
• Communicate test results to doctors and support staff.
• Participate in continuous education and training programs.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and standards.
• Monitor inventory of laboratory supplies and request orders as necessary.
• Assist with audits and inspections related to laboratory practices.
• Work closely with the Laboratory Manager to improve operational efficiency.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in hematology or clinical laboratory roles.
