Printing Press Operators

Job Description

As a Printing Press Operator, you'll be responsible for operating and maintaining cylinder printing presses to produce high-quality prints on materials such as paper and fabric. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to quality will ensure our products meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and troubleshoot printing machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain records of production and operation.
• Train junior operators on machine operation and safety protocols.
• Implement new printing techniques to improve efficiency and quality.
• Assist in the development of printing schedules and timelines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or apprenticeship in printing or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 3 years of operational experience in cylinder printing.

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Physical dexterity

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Strong teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with safety standards in printing: Knowledge of OH&S regulations related to printing operations.
• Experience with digital printing techniques: Knowledge of integrating digital techniques into traditional printing processes.
