Job Description

As a Cyber Defense Forensics Analyst, you will immerse yourself in the world of digital forensics and incident response. Your role will involve identifying and mitigating cyber threats to protect sensitive information and infrastructure. Ideal candidates have a solid understanding of cyber security fundamentals, coupled with hands-on experience in digital forensic analysis.

Responsibilities

• Utilise forensic tools to analyse evidence and generate detailed reports.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends in cyber threats and technologies.
• Participate in incident response drills and tabletop exercises.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and external agencies as required.
• Perform malware analysis and reverse engineering.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
• Provide expert testimony in legal proceedings when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in digital forensics and incident response.
