Job Description
As a Logging Equipment Operator, your responsibilities will include operating machinery for the handling of logs, maintaining equipment, and coordinating with team members to optimize workflow. Safety and quality are paramount in this role.
Responsibilities
Safely transport logs from trucks and other transport vehicles.
Perform routine checks on logs for defects or irregularities.
Assist in loading and unloading logs as per instructions.
Follow organizational procedures related to log handling.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating log handling equipment in a logging or forestry environment.
