Job Description

The Scallop Cutter will play a vital role in the seafood processing line. They're responsible for preparing and cutting scallops to meet the extensive requirements of the business while maintaining high levels of product quality and safety. This position requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently utilize scallop knives and other cutting tools.
• Maintain accurate production records using basic computer skills.
• Ensure compliance with food handling equipment and machinery.
• Participate in team meetings to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Aid in training new staff members on cutting techniques and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Current Food Safety and Hygiene certification preferred.

Experience

• Experience using food handling machinery and equipment is an advantage.
