Job Description

As an Agricultural Inspector, you'll have a crucial role in the agricultural industry, providing expertise in seed selection and fertilization techniques. Your primary responsibility will be to assist farmers in optimising crop yield and quality through effective seed and fertilizer management. You will be conducting soil tests, advising farmers on suitable seed varieties, and implementing fertilizer programs tailored to maximise productivity. Collaborating with agronomists and agricultural suppliers will be vital in developing innovative solutions for enhancing crop performance.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with farmers to understand their needs and challenges.
  • Design and implement workshops on sustainable farming practices.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of applied seed and fertiliser programs.
  • Document and report on findings and recommendations.
  • Foster relationships with educational institutions for research collaboration.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in agronomy or environmental science is highly desirable.
