Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cutting and Slicing Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender to join our team at FloraTech Solutions. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preparing plant materials for our innovative floral creations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and tend to cutting and slicing machines to prepare materials for production.
• Ensure that tools and equipment are in good working order and report any issues.
• Assist in training new operators on machinery usage and safety protocols.
• Document and report production metrics and quality checks.
• Work effectively within a team to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

Education

• Horticulture qualification preferred

Experience

• Experience with different types of plants and their care is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Plant species knowledge
• Knowledge of cutting tools

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Physical stamina

Certifications

• Horticulture certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a horticulture or floriculture environment: Practical experience to improve efficiency and quality in plant handling.
• Ability to drive a manual vehicle: Preferred for transportation of materials as needed.
