Job Description

As an Agricultural Equipment Operator, you'll play a crucial role in our berry harvesting operations. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining the berry picker machine, ensuring all equipment is in top condition to maximise productivity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of berry picking machinery.
• Conduct pre-harvest checks on equipment.
• Assist in the training and supervision of junior staff.
• Implement best practices for harvesting to ensure high quality.
• Provide feedback on machine performance and improvements.
• Prepare machinery for off-season storage.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Agricultural Science or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in berry farming operations is preferred

Technical Skills

• GPS navigation
• Farm management software

Soft Skills

• Communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Certifications

• Forklift license is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
