Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Computer Numerically Controlled Tool Programmer to enhance our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes, with at least 5 years of experience in setting up and operating CNC milling machines. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately to specifications is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed CNC programs to achieve precise machining specifications.
  • Ensure all machines are set up correctly and safely prior to operation.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of CNC equipment.
  • Support the production team in meeting tight deadlines and quality expectations.
  • Engage in problem-solving efforts to address machining challenges and inefficiencies.
  • Keep up with the latest CNC technologies and techniques for continuous learning.
  • Oversee the safe operation of tools and machinery in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Engineering (Mechanical Trade) or equivalent
Experience
  • 5+ years of practical experience in CNC programming and operational roles.
