Library Technician

Job Description

As a Library Technician, you will play a critical role in managing and monitoring our stacking processes. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the efficient organization and retrieval of goods within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong ability to maintain inventory accuracy. This position requires proactive collaboration with team members to ensure fluid operations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth stacking and retrieval of goods.
• Implement best practices for inventory management and organization.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workspace.
• Train and assist new employees in equipment operation and safety protocols.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse environment.
• Perform quality checks on loaded goods to ensure they meet standards.
• Use inventory management systems for tracking and reporting purposes.

Requirements

Education

• High school or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1-3 years in warehouse or logistics operations.

Technical Skills

• Manual Handling Skills
• Basic Computer Skills

Soft Skills

• Strong Communication Skills
• Organizational Skills

Certifications

• Current Forklift License
• First Aid certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in Logistics or Warehousing: Additional qualifications relating to logistics will be an advantage.
• Experience with Inventory Control Processes: Familiarity with the practices of inventory control in warehousing.
