Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Steam Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining steam plant systems, ensuring safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure steam production meets operational demand.
• Regularly check fuel and water supply systems.
• Implement energy-saving measures where feasible.
• Oversee the operation of water treatment systems.
• Assist in audits and regulatory inspections.
• Communicate effectively with supervisory staff and team members.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as required by the management.
• Help maintain records for compliance and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Relevant vocational qualification is preferred

Experience

• Experience in maintenance and repair of steam plant equipment is essential.
