Job Description

As a Cloth Cutter, you will play a crucial role in our production team, responsible for cutting and preparing fabrics according to design specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for quality, ensuring that every piece meets our high standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate cutting machines to cut cloth according to patterns and specifications.
• Inspect cloth for defects and ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with designers to select the appropriate fabrics.
• Ensure timely completion of cutting tasks to meet production deadlines.
• Implement best practices for fabric handling and cutting.
• Provide feedback to the production team on material usage and efficiency.
• Assist in training new team members on cutting techniques.
• Maintain records of fabric usage and inventory levels.
• Participate in quality control meetings to discuss sewing issues and solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Clothing Production or equivalent.

Experience

• Experience in fabric cutting and preparation, preferably within a high-volume environment.
