Job Description

The Dehydrating Press Operator is essential for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of the dehydrating press machine, which plays a critical role in our food processing chain. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality control; as an operator, you'll monitor machine performance, perform maintenance tasks, and ensure safety protocols are followed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the dehydrating press operates within the set parameters for optimal productivity.
• Monitor and document machine operations and product quality during shifts.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Follow safety and compliance standards to maintain a safe workplace.
• Help train new hires on safe operating procedures and equipment handling.
• Work closely with production supervisors to report on machine performance and efficiencies.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in food safety or related field is a plus.

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in food processing or machine operation.
