Nursing Assistant

Job Description

As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our nursing staff in providing high-quality patient care. You will assist with daily activities for residents, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Help with personal hygiene and grooming for residents.
• Transport patients between different areas of the facility as needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families.
• Participate in patient care planning and review meetings.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under supervision.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant qualifications in healthcare support
• Any additional certifications in aged care or disability support are preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial.
