Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychologist to join our team in Lismore. The successful candidate will provide psychological assessment and therapy services to clients experiencing various mental health issues. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans and enhance client wellbeing.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial and ongoing evaluations of clients' psychological states.
  • Design and implement therapy programs to address specific client issues.
  • Facilitate client workshops and support groups to enhance group therapy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in client interactions.
  • Provide crisis intervention services when necessary.
  • Participate in research activities or quality improvement projects.
  • Educate clients on coping strategies and mental health resources.
  • Involve family members in treatment planning when appropriate.
  • Advocate for clients' rights and needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Psychology
  • Doctorate in Psychology is a bonus
Experience
  • 4+ years of relevant clinical experience
