Job Description

As a Bushel Girl, you will be responsible for managing a vibrant team of fruit pickers on a fast-paced farm. This role ensures that all harvests meet our quality standards while fostering a positive team environment. You’ll need strong leadership skills and the ability to adapt to a dynamic working environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and mentor a diverse team of fruit pickers.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding harvesting and safety.
• Assist in tracking the performance of the team and provide feedback.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in picking, packing, and handling produce.
• Collaborate with the management team to improve operational efficiency.
• Participate in staff recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Manage and report on equipment and supplies necessary for daily operations.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III or IV in Agriculture or Horticulture
• First Aid Certificate

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role in agriculture or farming.
