Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Soil and Plant Scientist to join our growing research team. The successful candidate will focus on determining nutrient requirements for crops, developing fertiliser formulations, and implementing innovative nutrient management strategies to improve agricultural outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement soil and plant research projects to improve crop yield.
  • Analyse soil and plant tissue samples to assess nutrient status.
  • Develop educational materials for farmers and stakeholders to enhance understanding of nutrient management.
  • Present findings at agricultural conferences and seminars.
  • Engage with local farming communities to support sustainable practices.
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate cross-functional projects.
  • Document and report all research activities and outcomes accurately.
  • Provide technical support to sales and marketing teams regarding nutrient products.
  • Foster relationships with academic institutions for collaborative research.
  • Contribute to grant proposals for funding agricultural research initiatives.
