Job Description

As a First-Line Supervisor of Farming, Fishing, and Forestry Workers, you will oversee daily operations, manage crew activities, and ensure safety and productivity on the farm. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining our high standards of tree care and production.

Responsibilities

• Lead the crew in planting, maintaining, and harvesting Christmas trees with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Ensure that all crew members adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
• Evaluate crew performance and provide timely feedback.
• Manage daily operations including inventory control and equipment maintenance.
• Plan and implement effective work schedules to meet production targets.
• Engage with customers and assist in sales and marketing during peak seasons.
• Prepare reports on crew productivity and farm operations.
• Handle conflict resolution and maintain team morale.
• Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance skills.

Requirements

Education

• Higher qualification in Agriculture or related field preferred

Experience

• Experience in Christmas tree farming is an advantage
