Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Flocker to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in managing and maintaining our flocking systems, contributing to the overall productivity of our livestock management operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of flocking systems.
• Analyse flocking results to ensure optimal quality standards are met.
• Lead training sessions for new technicians in flocking practices.
• Work closely with other departments to align on production requirements.
• Document and report daily production activities and statistics.
• Innovate and propose new methods for improving flocking efficiency.
• Participate in safety audits and implement recommendations.
• Fulfil any other responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Agriculture or related field
• Additional certifications in livestock management are advantageous.

Experience

• Experience in managing and training flocking technicians.

Technical Skills

• Livestock Management
• CAD Software

• Communication

• Project Management Experience: Familiarity with managing projects and leading teams in agricultural settings.
