Job Description

As a Slaughterer and Meat Packer, you will be responsible for handling and processing seafood to the highest quality standards. Your role will involve sorting, cleaning, packaging, and preparing seafood products to ensure customer satisfaction. Keeping operations running smoothly and adhering to food safety regulations is paramount in this role. You will collaborate with a dedicated team, ensuring all products meet our strict quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare seafood products according to established guidelines
  • Inspect, clean, and sort seafood to maintain quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver products on time
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
  • Assist in training new team members on procedures and safety protocols

Requirements

Education
  • Food Handling Certificate preferred
Experience
  • Experience in handling live seafood is advantageous.
Technical Skills
  • Ability to operate processing machinery
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience with seafood processing equipment: Hands-on experience operating seafood processing machinery.
  • Knowledge of seafood species: Understanding different species and their handling requirements.
