Job Description

As a Wool Shearing Supervisor, you will lead a dedicated team of shearers, ensuring efficient and safe wool harvesting. Your role encompasses the management of shearing operations, team oversight, and the maintenance of high-quality standards in wool production.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the shearing process to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and facilities.
  • Report on shearing progress and wool quality to management.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop training programs for staff to enhance skill sets.
  • Liaise with suppliers for equipment and wool grading systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in Shearing or Wool Handling
  • First Aid Certification
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the wool industry or agriculture.
