Job Description
The Planting Supervisor will oversee planting operations, ensuring all activities meet environmental standards and are executed efficiently. This role requires strong leadership to train planting crews and maintain high-quality seedlings.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise planting crews, ensuring clear communication of tasks.
Monitor and report on seedlings' growth and planting success rates.
Implement best practices for planting and seedling maintenance.
Keep detailed logs of plantings, including species and locations.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure project completion.
Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders, such as local councils.
Assist in training new staff and provide ongoing support for team members.
Evaluate and recommend improvements for planting processes and strategies.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III or IV in Horticulture or equivalent
Valid Driver's License
Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in planting operations or landscaping
