Join our team as a Monkey Keeper, where you'll take charge of the daily care and enrichment of our monkeys. This role is crucial in promoting their well-being while educating the public about conservation efforts.
Responsibilities
Conducting routine health checks and documenting findings.
Developing enrichment programs to promote natural behaviours.
Interacting with visitors during presentations and educational tours.
Managing records for health treatments and dietary changes of monkeys.
Collaborating with veterinarians for health assessments.
Training and mentoring junior staff and volunteers in animal care techniques.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III or IV in Animal Studies
Bachelor's degree in Zoology or related field is preferred
Experience
Experience in animal behaviour research is a plus.
