Job Description

We are on the hunt for a skilled Financial Analyst to join our Geelong team. This role involves performing financial analysis, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Draft financial reports and presentations for executive review.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
• Work with the finance team to optimize budgets and expenditures.
• Provide support for business case development and deal analysis.
• Perform competitive analysis and market research to inform business strategy.
• Assist in identifying areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements.
• Support ongoing financial audits and compliance efforts.
• Develop metrics and KPIs to track financial performance.
• Facilitate training and support for finance-related tools and systems.
• Maintain accuracy in financial documentation and reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of work experience in financial analysis or a similar role

Technical Skills

• Forecasting

Certifications

• CMA certification is valuable

Languages

• English: Fluent
