Job Description

We are seeking skilled Textile Winding, Twisting, and Drawing Out Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders to join our Melbourne facility. The ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and strong experience in machine operation, ensuring the smooth running of our production line.

Responsibilities

• Configure textile machinery for winding, twisting, and drawing tasks based on the production plan.
• Conduct inspections on raw materials and final products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Troubleshoot machine errors and perform necessary repairs swiftly.
• Cultivate a team-oriented atmosphere by collaborating with other machine operators.
• Utilize technology to report production data and assist in operational adjustments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to promote safety.
• Take part in scheduled training sessions to enhance skillset.
• Support the Production Manager in meeting overall manufacturing goals.
• Prepare machine settings and materials to ensure seamless transitions between production runs.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Trade Certificate in Textile Operations or relevant experience
• Diploma in Manufacturing Technology is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years' experience in a textile manufacturing role or similar
