Job Description

The In-File Operator plays a crucial role in managing and organising electronic files and records within a busy office environment. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently. The ideal candidate will ensure that all documents are accurately labelled, filed, and easily retrievable, contributing to the overall functionality of the organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and manage physical and electronic documents.
  • Digitise documents using scanners and document management software.
  • Index and file documents according to established guidelines.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entry and filing.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including confidentiality protocols.
  • Maintain records of document flow and retrieval processes.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct integrity checks on filed documents.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate or diploma in office administration or related field preferred
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
Technical Skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)

Languages
  • English: Fluent
