Job Description

As a Psychologist with Mental Health Services Pty Ltd, your primary focus will be to provide therapeutic support to individuals facing mental health issues. This dynamic role includes evaluating psychological conditions, creating tailored treatment plans, and facilitating individual and group sessions. Responsibilities

  • Perform psychological screenings and assessments.
  • Design and implement therapeutic approaches for individuals and groups.
  • Evaluate patient responses to treatment and adjust plans appropriately.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and legal regulations in psychology.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform practice.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
  • Participate in workshops and training programs.
  • Collaborate with community resources for client referrals.
  • Document treatment plans and client progress meticulously.
  • Provide mentorship to interns or junior staff where possible.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Psychology is preferred
  • AHPRA registration is required
Experience
  • 3+ years of post-graduate experience in clinical settings
