Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team in Port Stephens. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing exceptional customer service. You will also manage staff, review patient prescriptions, and work collaboratively with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the pharmacy team and oversee operational workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulation and safety standards.
  • Implement patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
  • Conduct training for new and existing staff on best practices.
  • Oversee financial management including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Evaluate and enhance the pharmacy services offered to patients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all pharmacy transactions.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors regarding stock management.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote pharmacy services.
  • Adhere to quality assurance practices for medication safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
  • Master's in Healthcare Administration is a plus
