Job Description

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Local Coffee House. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent service, and contributing to a positive café atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Craft high-quality drinks using various brewing methods.
• Engage with customers and provide menu recommendations.
• Keep the café environment clean and welcoming.
• Handle cash register and customer transactions efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of inventory needs.
• Assist in training new team members.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience as a Barista or in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Espresso Preparation

Advantageous

• Experience in Coffee Roasting: Knowledge of the roasting process and its impact on flavour.
• Customer Relationship Management: Experience in maintaining relationships with regular customers.
