Job Description

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Barista to join our team at Local Coffee House. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality coffee beverages, providing excellent service, and contributing to a positive café atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Brew exceptional coffee and prepare beverages per customer requests.
• Deliver top-notch customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and service standards throughout the café.
• Manage payments and maintain accurate cash handling.
• Support team operations by assisting colleagues as necessary.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to café improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ years of experience as a Barista or in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Espresso Preparation
• Customer Service

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Teamwork

Advantageous

• Experience in Coffee Roasting: Knowledge of the roasting process and its impact on flavour.
• Customer Relationship Management: Experience in maintaining relationships with regular customers.
