Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Inspector, Tester, Sorter, Sampler, and Weigher to join our waste management team in Sydney. This multifaceted role involves ensuring the accurate sorting and sampling of waste materials to uphold our commitment to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper classification and efficient sorting of waste materials.
• Perform regular inspections on collection routes and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of waste collected and processed.
• Communicate effectively with the Waste Management Team to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Assist in the maintenance and repair of waste management equipment.
• Follow established safety protocols to minimize workplace hazards.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote best practices in waste management.
• Collaborate with the Operations department for efficient waste collection.
• Conduct audits of waste management practices to improve sustainability efforts.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in Environmental Management or related field preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in waste management or environmental services

Technical Skills

• Operational Efficiency Knowledge
• Data Entry and Reporting

Soft Skills

• Problem Solving
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Certification
• Certified Waste Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
