Job Description

As an Agricultural Inspector, you will conduct inspections of food establishments to ensure compliance with health regulations and standards. Your role is crucial in identifying potential hazards and advising on corrective actions to maintain food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out inspections of food production, processing, and retail facilities.
  • Report and document any violations of health standards.
  • Assist food businesses in developing their food safety plans.
  • Conduct training sessions for food handlers on proper hygiene practices.
  • Compile and maintain comprehensive records of inspections and assessments.
  • Work with industry stakeholders to ensure compliance with evolving food safety standards.
  • Utilize statistical analysis software for data tracking and reporting.
  • Participate in public health promotion activities related to food safety.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Environmental Science, or related field
Experience
  • Experience in environmental health inspections is a plus.
