Job Description

Join our team as a Hatchery Man, where you will manage the growth of fish eggs and larvae, ensuring optimal water quality and health. Ideal candidates will possess a strong background in aquaculture and be committed to sustainable practices.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day hatchery operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Conduct water quality testing and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Train and mentor new staff on best practices in fish breeding and hatchery management.
  • Implement biosecurity measures to prevent disease outbreaks.
  • Participate in research and development projects related to aquaculture.
  • Work alongside the Aquaculture Manager to develop improvement strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Aquaculture, Fisheries, or a related field
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in hatchery operations
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of fish biology

Languages
  • English: Fluent
