As a Food Batchmaker at Refined Syrup Co., you will be integral in operating and maintaining equipment used in the syrup refining process. Your responsibilities include monitoring equipment, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining product quality. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular maintenance checks on production equipment.
• Compile and analyse production data for efficiency improvements.
• Engage in continuous improvement projects to enhance production processes.
• Assist in the training of new team members on equipment operations.
• Implement corrective actions for any deviations in production quality.
• Actively participate in safety meetings and initiatives.
• Collaborate with quality assurance personnel to ensure product consistency.
• Keep work areas clean and organised to promote safety.

Requirements

Education

• Cert IV in Food Processing or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience operating and maintaining equipment in a manufacturing or food and beverage environment

Technical Skills

• PLC Programming
• Quality Control Techniques

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Time Management

Certifications

• Food Safety Supervisor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift License: A valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
• Experience with automated production equipment: Hands-on experience with PLCs and automated systems.
