Job Description

Join our team as a Ship Engineer where you'll be tasked with maintaining and operating tugboat engines. Your expertise will ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, contributing to the safe navigation of vessels in Australian waters.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee operational parameters of tugboats.
  • Troubleshoot and repair engines and machinery as necessary.
  • Participate in compliance inspections and audits.
  • Collaborate with other engineers for system upgrades and innovations.
  • Ensure safety equipment is operational and compliant with regulations.
  • Assist with emergency drills and safety training.
  • Monitor fuel consumption and optimize engine performance.
  • Conduct equipment upgrades and modifications as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Marine Engineering or a related technical field
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in marine engineering roles or as a Ship Engineer
