First-Line Supervisors of Production and Operating Workers

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated First-Line Supervisor to manage our production team. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure production targets are met, and foster a positive work environment while monitoring safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily meetings to communicate production goals and performance updates.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and recommend improvements.
• Provide feedback and coaching to team members to enhance performance.
• Assist in the hiring process of new production staff as needed.
• Manage conflict resolution within the team efficiently.
• Utilize production management software to track workflows.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Contribute to the development of new manufacturing processes.
• Analyze production data to forecast future staffing needs.
• Participate in budget planning and resource allocation.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a leadership position within a similar environment
