Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Bacteriology Technician to become part of our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will perform a variety of laboratory tasks related to the study and analysis of bacteria, contributing to vital research and development projects. Your meticulous approach will ensure high-quality results, therefore a strong understanding of microbiological principles is essential. You will be actively involved in isolating and identifying bacteria, and maintaining bacterial cultures, while also collaborating with fellow researchers to present findings effectively.

Responsibilities

• Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies.
• Foster relationships with current clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
• Prepare accurate sales forecasts for territory.
• Collaborate with marketing on lead generation.
• Participate in trade shows and events to promote products.
• Track sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Train and support new sales staff as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree is advantageous

Experience

• Previous experience in vending sales is a plus.
