Loading Unit Tool Setter

Job Description

We are seeking a Loading Unit Tool Setter to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will set and operate loading unit tools in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented and have a strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Adjust and calibrate tools and equipment as necessary.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products and report any deviations.
• Train new operators on equipment usage and safety protocols.
• Assist in the development of new tooling and improvements to current processes.
• Communicate effectively with the production team to coordinate schedules and workloads.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (Toolmaking) or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years' experience in setting and operating loading unit tools

Technical Skills

• CNC machining equipment
• CAD/CAM software

Advantageous

• Experience in a Lean Manufacturing environment: Familiarity with Lean principles to enhance production efficiency.
