Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with agricultural research institutions to deliver current information to farmers.
  • Assist in developing community-driven agricultural projects.
  • Provide outreach and support to underrepresented farming communities.
  • Maintain records of educational program participation and outcomes.
  • Offer guidance on environmental sustainability practices.
  • Develop promotional materials to raise awareness about educational offerings.
  • Assist in creating a digital platform for resource sharing.
  • Evaluate the impact of educational programs on farming practices.
  • Convene community meetings to discuss agricultural challenges and solutions.
  • Support initiatives that encourage youth engagement in agriculture.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or related field
  • Postgraduate qualification in Agricultural Education is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in agricultural extension or community education
