Responsibilities

• Conduct groundwater modelling and interpretation.
• Train junior staff on best practices in hydrogeology.
• Collaborate with environmental managers on site assessments.
• Ensure project compliance with Australian environmental regulations.
• Analyse historical groundwater data to inform management plans.
• Engage with local communities and stakeholders regarding groundwater issues.
• Prepare presentations for clients and regulatory bodies.
• Provide input on policy development pertaining to groundwater management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field
• Master’s degree is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in groundwater modelling and management

• Environmental regulations

Certifications

• Registered Professional Hydrogeologist
• Certified Environmental Practitioner

Languages
