Job Description

The Industrial Ecologist will play a vital role in conducting research and assessing the ecological health of forests. This role involves a diverse range of responsibilities, from fieldwork to data analysis, ensuring sustainable management practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee ecological assessments and surveys in forest environments.
  • Collaborate with government and NGOs to develop ecological strategies.
  • Prepare and present findings to various stakeholders including community groups.
  • Engage in community outreach initiatives related to forest conservation.
  • Assess the impact of climate change on forest ecosystems.
  • Lead a team of researchers in field studies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Environmental Science or related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in forest ecology or environmental management.
