Job Description

As an Information Security Analyst, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization against potential security threats. Your responsibilities will include monitoring warning systems, assessing threat severity, and collaborating with our cybersecurity team to develop robust security strategies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor various warning systems and analyze data to detect potential security threats.
• Provide assessments of threats and recommend response strategies to the cybersecurity team.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement security procedures and best practices.
• Stay abreast of new security trends and technologies to proactively address security issues.
• Coordinate with IT staff to ensure all security measures are effectively implemented.
• Document and report security incidents, vulnerabilities, and corrective actions.
• Support forensic investigations of security incidents as needed.
• Assist in development and maintenance of security awareness training.
• Participate in simulations and drills to test incident response protocols.
• Develop internal security procedures and guidelines to enhance overall security posture.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field

Experience

• 2-3 years experience in information security or a related field

Technical Skills

• SIEM tools
• Penetration testing tools
• Malware analysis tools
• Firewalls and IPS

Soft Skills

• Analytical skills

Certifications

• CISSP or CEH certification is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
