Responsibilities

• Ensure all food safety policies are followed in day-to-day operations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to uphold food quality standards.
• Participate in the review of suppliers and conduct performance evaluations.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of current food safety legislation and standards.
• Provide leadership during food safety emergencies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Food Safety, Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant field is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in food safety roles

Technical Skills

• Risk Assessment
• Compliance Management

Soft Skills

• Communication Skills
• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• ISO 22000 Certification
• Lead Auditor Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with training programs: Experience developing and delivering food safety training for staff.
• Proficiency in data analysis: Ability to analyze safety compliance data and trends.
