Bisque Ware Dipper

Job Description

As a Bisque Ware Dipper, you will be a key player in our pottery production process, responsible for dipping and glazing bisque-fired pottery items before they are sent to the kiln for firing. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a passion for craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bisque ware for glazing processes.
• Ensure all tools and equipment are clean and ready for use.
• Assist team members with additional production tasks as required.
• Keep accurate records of glazing recipes and mixtures.
• Monitor and adjust the kiln temperature as needed.
• Train new team members on safe and effective glazing practices.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.

Requirements

Education

• Demonstrated experience in bisque ware dipping and glazing

Experience

• Experience with a variety of glaze types and recipes

Technical Skills

• Glaze mixing
• Kiln operation
