Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Excavating and Loading Machine Operator to join our dedicated team in the surface mining industry. The successful candidate will operate various machinery including excavators and draglines, ensuring compliance with safety regulations while performing excavation tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently operate heavy machinery including excavators, draglines, and loaders in surface mining.
• Conduct end-of-shift inspections to ensure equipment is in safe operational condition.
• Assist in loading and loading operations to maximize production output.
• Complete daily logs and report any incidents or irregularities to management.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean and hazard-free site.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in heavy machinery operation desired

Experience

• At least 2 years of practical experience in excavating and loading.

Technical Skills

• Excavator Operation

• White Card
